Description
The “General Medicine” program is a comprehensive educational program for a period of study of 5 years for foreign students and consists of 2 parts: 1 part includes the study of fundamental disciplines, 2 part - the study of clinical disciplines with practical training in the university’s own clinical bases. The first 3 years of study include the study of humanities and natural sciences, including the study of biology, chemistry, anatomy, Kyrgyz, Russian and English. Clinical disciplines include the study of internal medicine, histology, pathological anatomy, pathophysiology and other disciplines in educational buildings and clinics. In the final years of study, students acquire in-depth skills from qualified doctors in their own and affiliated clinics in all medical areas.
The educational standard has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Declaration: a modular principle of education, a system of credit units (ECTS credit accounting system), a point-rating system for assessing students' mastery of academic disciplines.
After receiving the qualification “Doctor”, our graduate is able to perform basic medical and surgical measures for the most common diseases and conditions among the population, prescribe adequate treatment to patients in accordance with the diagnosis, provide first aid to the population in the event of emergency and life-threatening conditions, direct for hospitalization of patients on a planned and emergency basis.
