A guest lecture dedicated to the epic "Manas" was held at the International Faculty of Medicine. The lecture was given by Dr. Joseph Oh. Professor of the University of Vine, California, Professor WMC Washington DC. Professor Joseph Oh is a researcher of the Manas epic.
Professor Joseph began his lecture with the history of the epic Manas.

He said that "Manas" not only describes the life of the Kyrgyz people and its historical events, but is also a lesson in wisdom and morality. The epic tells about the struggle for freedom, about how people should live in harmony with nature and with each other.
