The Third Forum of Central Asian University Rectors Was Held in Bishkek
On November 20, 2024, Bishkek hosted the Third Forum of Central Asian University Rectors, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region. The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, who highlighted the importance of the forum for integrating the region's universities and their role in developing the economy and society.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the forum, university rectors shared their ideas and perspectives on the future of higher education. Numerous reports and presentations were delivered. Salymbekov University also actively participated in the event. Notably, the university’s president, Amangeldi Jumadilov, and the vice president of the American Institute of Technology, Emil Bilgaziev, presented reports sharing their views on transforming higher education in the face of global challenges. They emphasized the importance of introducing innovations and strengthening international cooperation.
The forum covered topics such as the integration of science, education, and business, the digitalization of higher education, and the development of research universities. The event concluded with the adoption of a Declaration aimed at strengthening the Central Asian Higher Education Space and enhancing the international competitiveness of the region's universities.
